In creating the new Iranian flag, which I call the People's Flag, my goal is to forge a renewed connection with the Iranian flag. Central to this movement is my call to remove all symbols that have tainted the flag throughout history. As a symbolic gesture, I proudly displayed my handmade, pure flag on the busy streets of Chicago, holding a flag for the first time that I am proud of and that is not a symbol of pain. My aim is to liberate the Iranian flag from the constraints imposed by kings, the government, and religion over centuries, enabling broader and more inclusive use among citizens. By deliberately politicizing and reappropriating the Iranian flag on behalf of the global Iranian diaspora, I am committed to disrupting the prevailing narrative and creating a space for diverse interpretations and expressions of collective identity.
در تولید پرچم جدید ایران که من اسمش را پرچم مردم میگذارم، هدف من ایجاد ارتباطی نو با پرچم ایران است. محور این حرکت، دعوت من برای حذف همه نمادهایی است که در طول تاریخ پرچم ایران را لکه‌دار کرده‌اند. به عنوان یک حرکت نمادین، من با افتخار پرچم دست‌ساز پاک خود را در خیابان‌های شلوغ شیکاگو به نمایش گذاشتم تا برای اولین بار پرچمی در دست بگیرم که به آن افتخار میکنم و سمبل درد نیست
